Today, we received the NVC letter. That is a letter from the National Visa Center that basically says that the consulate in Guangzhou, China, can now access Savannah's information for processing her visa. Or at least I think that's what it says.

The reason it's such a big deal is this: Now, our agency has a copy of this letter. This letter is the LAST piece of paper they were waiting for in order to send a whole packet of forms to the China Center for Adoption Affairs. So all we need now is Travel Approval (TA) from them! It will take a while - a month or so - to get this. But our stuff is on it's way!! Got the FedEx email this afternoon confirming that those all-important papers we've been working on since August are finally on their way!!!!
