On June 13, 1992, our beautiful daughter was born. That was 16 years and one month ago. We cannot believe how swiftly the last 16 years have flown by. Sounds trite, I know. But it is so true - the years just keep going by faster and faster.
Tonight, we took Lauren and a few of her closest friends to The Melting Pot in Tallahassee to celebrate her 16th birthday. (We did a family party on her actual birthday. The "friend" party had to wait until this month - $$$.) Her friends came over in the afternoon, and they did a "make-over." They straightened her hair, and did her makeup. She was stunning. We thought that some of our friends and family might like to see some photos from the evening.
Our little girl really is growing up. Sniff, sniff.
